Absorbing bullet backstop (TS.81.002)

Absorbing bullet backstop system composed of a housing made from ballistic steel and a braking mass composed of cylindrical elastometric material.
The cylinders slow down and stop the shots, preventing direct impact with the steel and therefore the emission of noxious dust.
This type of backstop is specifically used for 25, 50 and 100-metre shooting galleries. The TS.81.002 system has been successfully tested by the Banco Nazionale di Prova per Armi Portatili (National Test Bank for Small Arms).
The test was carried out at a distance of 100 metres using various types of bullets with various levels of performance in order to subject the backstop to a wide range of stress. |
