Shutter
(TS.51.001)
The shutter has been studied to allow target turning systems equipped with a lead collector to be installed sheltered behind a wall, creating an enclosed space in which to install the machines.
The use of target turning machines equipped with a lead collector and installation in an enclosed space offers a series of functional and practical advantages such as preventing lead dispersion in the environment and the creation of a practical machine room for target changing and routine maintenance.
The connection between the machine and the shutter has been successfully tested by the Banco Nazionale di Prova per Armi Portatili (National Test Bank for Small Arms).
FIELD OF APPLICATION |
|
The structure is composed of a 2.00 x 1.00 m. front wall with a suitable opening for sighting the target; this is fitted into an opening in the wall using a support frame.
The shutter is opened and closed by the operator using a handle connected by a cable to a sliding trapdoor.
A mechanical stop device prevents the trapdoor from opening in the event that the machine is not positioned correctly.
Two guides fixed to the wall at ground level allow the machine to slide between two positions, the “target changing” and the “shooting” position. When the machine is in the shooting position it is constrained by the handle; to move the machine the handle must be disconnected and the trapdoor must be closed guaranteeing a higher level of safety. |
